5th Edition
At some point I'll have a long posting going into what I think of the recent announcement by Wizards of the Coast of a new edition of D&D. As for now, my first impression from all of the various articles I've read and WotC previews is a positive one. I think they're going to be putting together a strong product and I look forward to having a chance to see the beta materials.

So far a vast improvement over 4E. That's not a slight against the current edition but I feel the direction they've decided to move in is a more traditional yet flexible take on the classic game. They seem focused on given the classes a lot more individual feel.
ReplyDeleteI confess that I play martial characters more often then not and I love what they've done with the fighter. Can't wait to see the final product when it releases.
